Chevrolet Performance Lifter Kit for LS engines. Contains 16 new GM Lifters and is the same lifter used in the LS7 427 performance engine. This lifter kit was designed by GM to be incorporated into performance engine builds and utilises improved valving for higher RPM capability. Nothing surpasses the quality of a GM Original Equipment hydraulic roller lifter for your LS or GEN5 LT engine build.
These Chevrolet Performance hydraulic roller lifters can be used as direct replacements for your LS engine or as a great solution for an AFM delete on an L99, L76, and the GEN5 LT engine.

The GM 12499225 part number refers to a set of genuine Chevrolet Performance hydraulic roller lifters, commonly known as LS7 lifters or "gold clip" lifters. They are designed to suit all Generation III and IV GM LS-series V8 engines, as well as LT engines when doing an AFM delete.
These lifters are a popular drop-in upgrade or direct factory replacement and suit the following specific engines:
- LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, and LSA
- Truck/SUV Engines: LQ4, LQ9, LM7, LY2
- Holden/HSV V8s: 5.7L (LS1), 6.0L (LS2/L98/L76/L77), and 6.2L (LS3/LSA)
Important Fitment Notes:
- AFM/DOD Delete: These lifters will not suit engines running Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) systems in their factory state. However, they are frequently used as the go-to lifter replacement when performing an AFM/DOD delete on engines like the L76 or L99.
- Compatibility: They utilise standard lifter guide trays and are directly compatible with a wide range of LS-powered vehicles including the Holden Commodore, Chevrolet Camaro, and Corvette.
